The set comprises 12 photos in all and the pictures on the light boxes will be replaced monthly, which will form a narrative and successional effect. Those who frequently pass by the billboard will notice the changes of each month. 12 photos will form a complete narrative and attitude.
The 12 photos present the status in quo between dream and reality of the young in Shanghai. Life is realistic and it won't stop for one moment. After all young people will make their decision for the sake of their own dreams. Life, as a matter of fact, is realistically pale. However, dream is illusive. Those who pursue their dreams may be selfish and cruel.
If one theme can be drawn from reality and dream, that will be Struggle. |
