Description:
The "Movement Improvisation Workshop" is about setting up an opportunity to cooperate with local performers and other interested Shanghai residents. It's about working together to make new performance material and a chance to share different cultural perspectives on theatre and performance. It's a space for sharing the skills and knowledge and creating something new. "Movement Improvisation" is both a performance style and a way of teaching performance. Through the use of simple and enjoyable exercises (including individual tutorial, group exercise and group performance), its primary focus is to help participants to identify their performance abilities and interests and in turn to develop these. |
